2. Low notes - I do not use this technique, but many trombone players will tongue between their teethe in the low registers. Say "Thaw" or Thoe"
3. Slurring - to work on smoothness do 2 things off the instrument: 1) sing the slur on an "AH" sound; then 2) buzz it in the mouthpiece only. If you can successfully sing and buzz a slur you will be able to do it on your axe.
