The King Eb 3-valve non-detachable bell is listed as a model 1235 and the 4-valve is model 1236. These were called (along with the BBb of same design) King Symphony Basses. King provided a few different finishes: I Brass, Highly Polished; II Silver Satin Finish, Bright Bell; IIGB Siver Satin Finish Gold Bell; III Silver Satin Finish, Gold Bell, usual Trim; IV Gold Satin Finish Burnished Bell and Points; Artist Special, Gold, Hand Burnished. I copied the list exactly from the catalogue, (yes, they called it "silver satin"). Assuming yours is finish II, the price was 260.00 in 1938, (the 4-valve was 20.00 more!)
