what kind of a mute is it? The way you were describing the effect that mutes have on your horn, I assumed you must not be happy with it. The only problem with the H+B mute is it not big enough to use on a large horn. It's fit's the piggy and a few other bells, but it is even too small for a 188 bell. I tried to put it in a culbertson, and I think it laughed at me.
I wish somebody made an spun aluminum mute to fit the larger bells of today.
Take care dale, are you going to be in Texas sometime in the future? I'm afraid i don't have any plans to come out to the bay, unless I can talk my wife into a family vacation to watch a Battlebots taping.
