A few years ago, we attended a performace of the Candadian Brass with the Star of Indiana Drum Corps in Milwaukee. The performance was truly inspiring and was given a hearty standing ovation. As the applause finally died way, I made the jovial comment, "After a prformance that, who needs woodwinds anyway?" Everyone around us broke out in laughter and agreed. Again, you had to be there.
