lovin` my 2341.

receiver, designed to fit med and large shank tuba mouthpieces. Gap should be right even on standard(med) shanks. Some heavy top (monet etc...) dont seat, you would need the large shank version or have someone like Matt at Dillons put on the old standard model receiver.

solution for second valve slide. Have a repairman make an extended slide pull i.e. 4inch rod with a ring on it if you so desire. I dont feel the need myself, but if you like to pull the slide, seems to(AT)(AT)be an easy fix.

Low range a bit more resistance that I had on my former horn. A brittish player taught me once to "use the resistance" learn how to make it work with you, not against you. He of course was play a 4valve compensating Eb on 98 percent of his tuba work. so he know of what he speaks.

play tuba, be happy
