With a bass, there's an added bonu$ of the lower capital outlay as well. If you really have to have a pseudo-tuba sound, get an adequate sampling keyboard, and a put some good samples into the memory. Then you have a huge library, and still the lower co$t. You WILL pay about $1500 for any decent, used tuba. That buys a lot of bass, keyboard and amp.
