I agree with other people on this list that 2 and 3 are the best choices. Both horns are used in the buisness for lot's of things, and both have good resale value. As others have stated, I would also check out the kings. I would also check out Dillon's and Baltimore Brass (you will find links on the "Shops" section on this board), if you are on or near the east coast. If you are not, I'm sure if you give your location out, somebody on this board will know of a place to try out horns. I have had great personal experience at Dillon's, as I believe that most people on this board have had. They don't just sell tuba's, they sell service, which is what I think you need when buying any horn, especially the first horn. Good luck, don't rush, and have fun. Peace. ASG
