I need some help coming up with the first half of my recital program. I have an idea of what I'd like to do, but would like some input from the BBS. My recital so far looks like this:
Variations in Olden Style- Stevens
Sonata- Madsen
Concerto for Two Violins- Bach
-----
(with brass band)
Gregson Concerto
Blue Bells
The Bach will be with my instructor, so that is the only one that has to stay. The other two pieces on the first half and the order are up to debate. Other pieces I have considered are: Wilhelm Concertino, Tuba Buffo, a Bach Cello Suite, Telemann Fantasy for Flute (C minor), Effie Suite (with added percussion), Plog - Three Minatures, Hindemith Sonata, Jabba the Hutt (with a mixed ensemble accomp), Adagio from the Limpid Stream, and Girl with the Flaxen Hair-Debussy. Any other suggestions are also welcome.
