I love studying with Tim Northcut because he is truly a master at teaching fundamentals. No matter how well you play, he is always pointing out new aspects of fundamentals that you can improve upon. Whenever you meet his standard, he has already raised it higher. Also, he truly cares abotu his students and devotes himself fully to each student's progress. Even as a euphonium player, he is great, and truly knows the euphonium repertoire as well as the tuba rep.
