As others have already suggested I would look into the Denis Wick line of mouthpieces. Having a shank that fits your reciever certainly can't hurt your cause and will most likely help matters greatly. I'm not at all familiar with his mouthpieces but based on what you describe I would try to choose one that is on the small side of medium or smaller and more funnel shaped(to maintain the sound concept you seem to be looking for). A tighter backbore will also often push pitch up, especially if you play by feel.
