This recording is widely available on CD, the label is Mercury and includes (I believe) the CSO's blazing performance of Hindemith's Symphonic Metamorphosses. Check Amazon.
Arnold recorded this on a double BB-flat/F tuba and when the F side had some kind of problem he did it on the BB-flat and decided he liked it better. Apparently this was not even the very best take, but it is simply amazing. I understand Reiner did "Pictures" a lot and he was known to play it on the York. I think he could have played it on anything.
