I agree. Yamaha does seem to have some consistency issues. I have played a few that were best to add a chain to and thrown over the side of ship as an anchor and others that were just fantastic. There piston valve action is great but the sound sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. I love the 321 but they are just awful a lot of times. But I know a guy that has one that is just incredible. I think the guy who made it must have not had as much sake at lunch that day.
