I know the guy who is selling this horn. He's an international instrument and antiquities dealer, a great guy and very interesting character. He has come up with some real gems for me in the past. I bought my Yamaha YFB-851 from him. He said that he found it in a store in Wales. If you're not familiar with that model(and not many people are), it's a rotary 5-valve compensator F based on the 621. He has a barn full(no joke) of old tubas and sousaphones. They're piled about thigh-deep on the floor. It's about the only scene to rival the attic of my garage. He's a sax player, very astute and recognizes quailty, but sometimes he doesn't know everything about the tubas that he has. At one time he had a couple of very nice Gronitz Fs. I have to get over to his place and try this Besson F before it's gone. He's always treated me right.
