I came home from DCI this summer and started this new college I am going to. I switched to CC. After playing BBb and G my whole life it was a little different to learn the fingerings. The biggest problem that I had was lasping back into Bb fingerings. It wasn't near as hard as learning how to sing.
The guy that teaches Trupmet at my school (Darren Oberyct) told me not to learn a new set of fingerings, but to transpose. It was easier to learn the fingerings. Now after 6 months of playing I have virtually no problem switching back and forth.
