I know what you mean. I just recently purchased a vinyl version of the Empire Ewald album on eBay that is in really good shape. It really is a shame that this is the only way to get a good copy. That is such a great presentation of the first 3 Ewald quintets. Thanks for the heads up on the Gabrieli recording as well. I had heard something about this before because the some of the Empire guys are on faculty here at FIU. Thanks for the info.
