I've heard through the grape-vine that Northern CO has indeed conducted a phone interview with a variety of people (Mike Dunn of Univ. of Alabama for one), and have even set up at least one (that I know of) live interview/audition: Dr. Ben Kirby, instructor at Luther College in Iowa.
The Arizona job had Cameron Gates of the Marine band out for an interview/audition, but alas nothing seems to have worked out as they then continued with a phone interview down their short list of 5 names.
Nothing to my knowledge about Oregon, Western Michigan, or Virginia Commonwealth.
