On pages five through seven of the Tuba Source Book compiled by Winston Morris in the section entitled "A Brief History of the Tuba," Clifford Bevan writes about the uses of tubas primarily in the keys of BBb and EEb in Europe and states that this majority of BBb and EEb tuba use is still prominent. This book was published in 1996 so if things have drastically changed in Europe over the last five years then maybe I've just been really out of sink with the world of tuba.
