Save yourself the time and money. Buy a Czerveny Kaiser BBb bell(20"). Set it down the main stack of the Conn until it rests. Draw a black marker(indelible), pull it out, cut with tin snips and solder on the appropriate bell flange. Inside of an hour you will have an upright bell. Tom McGrady did this for me about 7 years ago. It worked fantastic. Lee Stofer bought the horn from me in 1996 and sold it. I am not sure if he sold it with both bells. The purists out there may have heartburn with this, but, hey, it works well and shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg. Matt Walters or Joe S. may have a better solution. MIND YOU, I AM NOT A REPAIR PERSON. DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU ARE AT ALL SQUEEMISH. HAVE A PROFESSIONAL DO THE CUTTING!!!.It does work. Tom, if you are lurking, add you two cents and give Faith a big kiss for me.

Chuck
