This is my problem: I am a euphonium player, have been one for 7 years, and now I want to concentrate on tuba. I have 2 years of experience playing tuba in a youth orchestra and some quintet stuff, but own only trombone/euph music like Arban, Schlossberg, Rochut, Kopprasch, and a bunch of solos. Reading my euph music down an octave is an option although it won't be as helpful learning how to read the lower music better. What are some of the more important/favorite books I should think of buying. Also what are the best orchestral excerpt books available, and any suggestions on solos would be much appreciated(yes, the Vaughan Williams is way out of my league:)

For all the people that post a reply, thanks for your help.

P.S. Who sells Alexander tubas?
