You know Dan, you're absolutely right and I stand corrected. I was thinking about Puccini's Manon Lescaut which is written for Tuba. All the rest of the Puccini operas that I know (Il Tabarro, La Boheme, Madame Butterfly, Tosca, and Turandot) are all written for Trombone Basso.
I guess that will teach me to make a post at 6:30am, on my way to a church after a late night of carousing!
