Hello everyone,
As part of an independent study at my college, I have obtained 2 vintage Conn Sousaphones. I checked the number at the bottom of the bell, and it says 42. I've never heard of a Conn 42 Sousaphone, so any information about the type would be appreciated.
As for the horns themselves, the serial numbers (230823 and 231869) date these horns as 1927. Combined these are the parts that are missing:
1 Bell Screw + Assembly
4 (?) Bits ( I don't know if they need them or not)
2 Gooseneck Screws
6 Valve Caps
1 1st valve
2 valve stems
Any information on where I can obtain these would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,
