Yeah, the Perantucci mouthpieces are substantially more expensive than the run-of-the-mill, mouthpieces available, but in this instance you are paying for some extra quality. I've used them for about 7 seven years now, and have never found anything to complain about and for me, they are worth the cash. The major benefit that I would recommend to you is the large variety available. They make a lot of different mouthpieces, both with a funnel-shaped, and a bowl-shaped cup, ranging in size from the shallow bass tuba mouthpieces, to the PT-90, which I eat my Cheerios out of in the mornings :) Another benefit (related to Custom Music, which sells them in the US) is that they will send you mouthpieces to try, and it only costs you a "restocking fee". They are still doing this, right? I would recommend the PT-50 or PT-42 for starters.
