A question for any of you with technical expertise on mouthpieces. I am looking for an additional/optional mouthpiece with some different characteristics.
I am currently using the Yamaha-Self mouthpiece with an Inner Diameter of 32.86mm. I am considering the Yamaha-Bobo/symphonic with an Inner Diameter of 32.9mm. Is the .04mm difference enough that I will notice it? In my mind it doesn't seem like much, but my micrometer is in the shop.
It is my intent to find differences in sound characteristic without notable differences in the feel of the mouthpiece. Comments?
