There was a post on TubaEuph last week showing a Lark euphonium with factory white lacquer on it. Some tuba makers (used to/still do) tint their lacquers yellow or orange. Lacquer's lacquer, whether it's untinted or hot pink.
As long as the lacquer didn't get too thick, you could probably have your horn airbushed with vines, lillies, naked women, whatever.
