I actually bought the same horn you are talking about from the Brasswind not more than 2 weeks ago. I pulled it out of the box, and after greasing up slides and valves, worked away for almost 4 hours. I'm currently using my Helleberg as well, but not the 7B. It gives me a great sound on it, and yes I agree that its kind of hard to center from G on down. But, I'm hopefully looking into some mouthpieces that will also help me with that. So again, if anyone has any recommendations on mouthpieces, HELP!!!! I'm extremely happy with my horn and the great service that Mike Russo gave. Good luck in your search for the right tuba!
