Now I don't know the complete story behind the Willson/Kurath thing, but I do know that the gentleman who owns the Willson Band Instrument Co. is Mr. Willi Kurath. That would lead me to believe that when this instrument was designed with the cooperation of Mr. Perantoni and Mr. Tucci it was marketed as a Perantucci. But, when that contract was broken and DEG became the distributor for all Willson instruments, they just put the "Willi-and-son" name on everything instead of Kurath, having never purchased any design since it was theirs to begin with.
Maybe I'm completely off the mark, does anyone know the whole story?
