Don't think so. Whoever wins it will do so on their own merits. There really is no need to start totally unsubstantiated rumors. Remember that these are people and they deserve the same dignity you would hope to have expressed towards you. There are at least 10 people out there who would be extremely competitive for this position right now and any of them could come out ahead on that particular day.
