I am ashamed to admit that as much as I love the Gregson, I never caught the quote until tipped off this morning. Maybe its the style I play that part. (not very Carpenter-like, unless you are talking about hammering something)
By the way Rick, I happen to like the way the piece sounds on a CC, especially the melodic theme of the 1st movement. Too many low notes to play it on a F.
