if the tuba is working fine, I would leave it alone. If the horn developes a buzz, then have it repaired. I don't know if MW would do much for you if you complain about a relatively minor assembly issue. In the past, I think they had replaced a few really bad valve sets. If it really bothers you, wait until you need some other work such as a major de-dent job and have that gap fixed at the same time.
