The PT7P is the piston version of the Culbertson.
I recently got to try both horns at TMEA,
so here's my two cents worth:
For a big horn, the Culbertson was very responsive
and easy to play.
I cannot say the same for the PT7P ....
The tubist in the San Antonio Symphony plays a
Culbertson and sounds GREATTT !!
