When I bought an F, some of the fingerings were the same as BBb, and I tried to build on that. Quickly, though, I found that I had to start from scratch as if it was a whole new instrument. Instead of trying to read music, I started doing scales and easy etudes, with a bit of real music thrown in. When I used the F at gigs (I was in an amateur orchestra at the time), I wrote the fingerings in the part if necessary.

So, I would add the CC to your current repertoire of difference fingerings, and then repeat the process with the F. Doing both at the same time would just make things confusing, it seems to me.
