maybe the current copies are all bright (like HB for example)
but many of the Jacobs-model Holtons in the 60's that were silver
WERE satin finish. Mine was but got that finish polished away by G. Meinl
when he did a cosmetic refurb 10 years ago - don't understand
why Don had that done, but you can still see that FINE satin finish
on the valve set inside (too hard to get to with a machine probably.
