Besson 993 BBb tuba, silver, 4 front-action piston valves, compensating. Two small dings on outside tube (approx. 1/4 in. square). Two small areas where finish has started to come off (approx. 1/4 in. x 1/2 in.), one on tube where adjustable thumb ring fits and one on the smaller upper bow where my hand rests. Purchased new in February 1998. With Besson hard case and a Denis Wick 1L mouthpiece, $4,500 plus shipping. ProTech gig bag, a mute, and several other mouthpieces also available, but selling separately. Mouthpieces: Bach 18, Benge 22, Shilke-Helleberg, and another Denis Wick 1L.
