This question has been rattling around my mind for the past few days, and when practicing today i finaly realized the answer...
On my horn (BBb VMI 2103) its the D in the staff, esspecially the opening note on the galliard sonata #5 (I don't have the music here so i can't remember the arrangement) it just sings
As far as notes I've ever played it was a low A that I played on a BBb Cerveny 601, I only had the horn for about a week (I was thinking about buying it but it was just too big) but that note literally shook the house, what a feeling...
