As far as I know, alot of people use pledge for laquer horns. I was told to use only the product in hand spray bottles (Not the aerosols). I think if anything, possibly the propellant in the aerosol could be bad for the finish. I usually spray the Pledge on the cloth. Hope this helps. Will leave the subject of cloths to others.
