Check out the PT-64 and PT-65. They are both extremely standard as far as F tuba mouthpieces go and should at the very least give you a good frame of reference to judge from. I've experimented with the PT-72 and it didn't excite me all that much either although I would imagine that it would be a good match for a different horn.
The Dillon Sheridon series F tuba mouthpieces may also be good choices. I've not played on one. I'm curious what people used before Perantoni and Sheridan came along to fill this gap. Would anyone with more 'experience' like to fill us young'ns in?
