I dislike using petroleum based oils due to the FOUL odour (and taste) that they have. When I was younger, and none the wiser, I used Al Cass on my rotors. Believe me, there is nothing worse than getting a mouthful of kerosene fumes coming up the leadpipe everytime you breathe in. Funny that Al Cass advertises that their oil is odourless. Absolute bollocks.... As for other kerosene based oils, in my experience, none of them are much better.

F.Y.I., is use Hetman Light Rotor oil, and Yamaha Spindle and Lever oil or my rotors. I use Hetman oils on the pistons. Expensive yes, but the results are worth the price.
