I agree with Morgster on the 6th valve issue. Having those 6 valves on a F will make an enormous difference to your playing. As Morgster said, you will have a mile more options with your fingerings and your intonation will be all the better for it. It also helps to make easy work of some otherwise fiendish trills. eg. All of the C to Dflat ones in V.Williams.
I recently had a lesson with Mr. Perantoni who was playing on the new PT16. It's a 6 valve version of the PT15. Should be in stores soon. As for which horn you'll find best, your opinion will count the most!
