I understand the tone variances, as I've played a few different tubas, but it's been a long time since I've decided to start up again. I first played a trumpet in H.S. and remember playing an F(?) because the fingering was the same for the two instruments...??
So my ignorance is evident, but when you say the fingering between the two tubas is the same, which two tubas are you referring to??
