It was built in 1969, Martin Band Instrument Company's heyday. It has 4 piston valves: 3 on top, 1 on the side. 17" bell, .650 bore, 31" tall. Silver plate with beautiful engraving on bell; some wear on contact spots and a few minor dings. Recently chemically cleaned. Tuba is fully functional: all slides move, valves are good, recently replaced corks on spit valves. Mouthpiece is included. No case though. Serial number is 16396.
