My trombone teacher was a member of this Royal Chapel, where the Thein tuba is now in use. But I have not been regularly in the theatre (at least not in its canteen) for a lot of years, so I have no personal contacts there any more.
In my pre-tuba days, which are no more than a year back, I have seen this tubist play. But I only thought of the instrument in use as being of the York type. So I do not even know, whether it was the Thein. To day my eyes might have been more active.
But he can play this young man.
