I was wondering what kinds of thoughts others have had after winning their first gig. It is strange to be a student or amatuer one day, and a paid "professional" the next. As music students, individuals work for years towards the goal of landing a job. After actually reaching that goal, things get weird. Now what? The goal has been reached, but their were no fireworks. The New York Times did not run a headline. World hunger didn't suddenly end.
What happens now?
