Hi from England !

I am a frequent reader of these pages and find it fascinating that so much info and experience is available so freely. I am also a member of TUBA and try my hardest to get players over here to sign up.

I have played a Wick 2Al on my Willson for as long as I can remember, only recently changing to a Steven Mead SM2.

These give the ideal range and volume I need, the problem is these have narrow & flat rims. Is there a mouthpiece out there that is similar ( certainly no smaller ) with a nice fat rim ? since my school days I was given a large Hawkes Kosicup mouthpiece and this was ideal but only for narrow bore instruments ( pre 1970 ).

Best wishes, Charley, B.B.C. Wind Band London.
