Like Santos said Haggerty's works great but the spray STINKS. The solvent in it is
(I think) perchlorethylene, which is carcinogenic, so be sure to use it in the garage
or even outside! I have two silver horns and find that the one which is nickel silver
doesn't tarnish as quickly as the silver-silver one. The Hagerty's "protective finish" seems to last pretty well, I clean maybe every 6 months (tubas get daily use.)
