Abe Torchinsky joined the Philadelphia Orchestra in 1949, Fantasia was done in the 30's. The tuba player at that time was Pillip Donatelli. Aparently, the sequences with Stokowski and an orchestra was done with others, not the Philadelphia Orchestra. The bell fron horn was done by Hollywood.
