I own a Rudy Meinl F tuba, and I have found it to be a very good horn especially for the Berlioz and Mendelsohn ophicleide parts. The horn has an excellent tone, and can be played very well in tune using the triggers supplied for the 2nd and 5th valve slides. The price for the horn I bought new was $5000. I believe the currrent model is somewhat more than that.
