I'm going to Tennessee Tech, and Winston Morris highly reccomends Mirafones. I am not very familiar with CC instruments, and I don't want to buy an old horn to learn on, then have to by a good one later. I want to get a good horn now, and have it for a long time. I also can not afford some of the other tubas. The Mirafones have a very high retail value and can be bought not to expensive at the Brasswind, compared to horns that cost more but do not list for as much money.
