Anyone who has come very far towards mastering the technical problems of playing the tuba and has NOT taught themselves how to read music written in the treble clef and play their instrument is, as it were, "hiding in the closet next to the ballroom".

Classic Western (not "country-western" ;^) music "lives" in the treble clef. This is a reality. I encourage ALL to develop or strengthen treble clef skills and to play ANY music that you hear and wish to play. You will be rewarded by...FUN !!! If you have not already done so, go ahead and jump off of the "tuba player" diving board into the "musician" pool.
