Just wondering if anyone has picked one of these up yet. I am real interested after hearing all the feedback from the D.C. Tuba conference. A buddy of mine went up there and played two of the Conn's at the Dillon booth and said they were absolutely fantastic. He just hopes that with the big demand for them now that they will be able to keep producing consistent models.
I am curious as to which most of you prefer and who have tried the 18 inch bell as oppossed to the 20 inch belled model.
For $5800 it looks like these tubas are going to put up some serious competition with other present leading models.
I know I have to save some bucks for one especially after just making a tuba purchase.
