Exactly. Some very fine players have emphasized beautiful lines and singing phrases at the expense of rythmic incisiveness. The outer movements are "dance pieces." Like Beethoven's 7th. Check that out. In developing the piece, look for the difference between rythmic figures and lyric phrases, and play accordingly. You'll get it.
